Mayor of Calpe's Award
On Valencia Day, 9th October 2014, on behalf of Footlights, Trevor Harder received the Mayor of Calpe's Award for Cultural Achievement.
The presentation was partly due to Footlights' excellent record, of having now donated over 40,000 euros to local charities.
Benissa MultiCultural Festival
Footlights presented a 20-minute section at the Benissa MultiCultural Festival, on the evening of Sunday, 5th October.
This was a major local fiesta, performed on a large open air stage. Footlights were asked to present a “British” theme.

Youth Theatre Summer Show
The Footlights Youth Theatre put on a programme of song and dance in the the Casa de Cultura, on Wednesday, 2nd July.
The end of 'Footloose'
The show was enthusiastically received, and the bucket collection raised nearly 1,000 euros.
Footlights Youth Theatre
Footlights Youth Theatre is aimed at teenagers, from 13 to 20.
It is run by a sub-committee, half of whom are in their teens, but are now veterans of several shows. We currently have members from the UK, Spain, Germany, Switzerland and Peru. Most are Spanish speakers, and we currently have about 10 Spanish members.
